Globe & Miami Arizona are small towns located in Gila County, Arizona about 70 miles east of Mesa. Founded in 1875, Globe is the county seat of Gila County. The area is known for it's copper mines and mining operations - several which are still in operation today. If small town living, lower priced homes, or getting away from the "big city" life is on your priority list, this is a perfect place to raise a family, retire, or enjoy the life style it offers.

The Town of Miami operates the Cobre Valley Community Transit, which provides local bus service in Miami and Globe. Globe-Miami has a semi-arid climate, characterized by hot summers and moderate to warm winters. Globe's arid climate is somewhat tempered by its elevation, however, leading to slightly cooler temperatures and slightly more precipitation than Phoenix or Yuma.
